Matt Danilowicz
President and Managing Director, Vitec Group Communications
Matt currently is the senior executive in charge of ClearCom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vitec Group, a UK-based public company. In that role he has full P&L responsibility for the world’s leading manufacturer of communications systems for broadcast, live performance and military applications. The company currently employs 160 professional and manufacturing personnel in San Francisco. Deemed the TV industry’s “News Technology Guru” by Broadcasting and Cable Magazine in 2002, Matt has extensive experience in General Management roles in companies like Pinnacle Broadcast and iNews. He has sales and marketing experience pioneering new business models from a number of broadcast and video production manufacturers, including Avid Technology and Parker Vision. At Avid, Matt was responsible for building and managing the company’s transition to an indirect sales channel for the company.

David Feehan
President and CEO of Civitas Consultants LLC
David is the founder of Civitas Consultants LLC, a Maryland-based international consulting firm, specializing in working with downtown and community development corporations, government agencies and business firms to create vibrant and economically successful business districts. Before entering private practice as a full-time consultant, he served as President and CEO of the International Downtown Association. David led successful downtown revitalization efforts in Des Moines, Detroit and Kalamazoo. He has also founded the Community Technical Assistance Center in Pittsburgh and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Citizens League.

Bill Flatley
SalesGain
Bill Flately is the Managing Director of SalesGain, a sales training and marketing firm. From January 2007 through May of 2008 Bill was Managing Director of ForbesAutos.com and ForbesTraveler.com In that position, he was responsible for all P&L and operational issues relating to both of these websites. From 2001 to 2007, Bill served as Forbes.com Vice President and Chief Advertising Officer during which time company revenue grew 700%. In addition, Bill’s team was recognized for their outstanding achievements by both the Jack Myers Report and Advertiser Perceptions.
Bill joined Forbes in 1989 as the West Coast Manager of the magazine and after relocating to New York to become Advertising Director in 1990, was named Vice President of Advertising in 1996 and Associate Publisher in 1999. He was instrumental in the launch of four critical Forbes ventures, leading the sales teams in the creation of: Forbes.com, ForbesAutos.com, the Forbes Conference Group and Forbes Custom Media. He has been an active member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and a board member of the Online Publishers Association (OPA).

Steve Johnson
Chief Revenue Officer at HootSuite
Steve joined HootSuite, the leading Social Media dashboard company, in July 2011. As Chief Revenue Officer he is responsible for strategic accounts growth and partnerships. Steve has a BS from Union College and a MBA in Marketing, Management & International Business from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Prior to his current role at HootSuite, Steve held the positions of VP, Channel Partners at Constant Contact, and VP, Partners at Blackbaud Kintera. In addition to serving on our advisory board, Steve serves on the board of a community hospital and developed a free website iAbida, as an individual communication management tool for families and professionals working with special needs individuals.

Derek Reisfield
BBN Networks, Fliptrack
Derek Reisfield is an international strategy consultant and private investor who specializes in Internet, Media, Telecommunications and Consumer Products. Currently Derek serves as the EVP and CFO of Fliptrack and as Chairman and CEO of BBN Networks, Inc. Mr. Reisfield is the co-founder of several firms, including Marketwatch, Luminant, and i-hatch Ventures. He was also instrumental in the development of several successful firms, including Strands, Every Baby Company, Provell and Sportsline. Derek served as the founding President of the New Media Division of CBS, and he was the Vice President, Business Development of the CBS Corporation and its predecessor, The Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Mr. Reisfield was the Co-Founder of the Media and Telecom practice of Mitchell Madison and a leader of McKinsey & Company’s Media practice.

Claude Sheer
Director, Chair of Compensation and Nomination Committee of the Board of Directors
at Lionbridge Technologies
Claude’s corporate assignments focused on the management of growth, mobilizing new technologies, acquisition of capabilities and building management teams. Writing on this work in an article entitled New Growth Platforms (Reprint R0605D); he was published in the May ’06 issue of Harvard Business Review.
In addition to serving on the board of Ziff-Davis (ZDI), Claude led the largest operating group of the company, and was responsible for over $700M in revenue. He has been CEO of Vault, Chairman of MenuPages and Interim CEO of Beliefnet.
Current Board of Directors assignments include Member of the Board of Salient Stills (an MIT Media Lab spinout) and Member of the Board of The VIA Agency and an integral part of Pop!Tech.
